    Complete guide to all the new August 2021 LEGO releases!

    It’s officially August 2021, which means Christmas is less than 150 days away. How’s that for a scary thought?

    August is going to be yet another big month for LEGO, with 2 extremely heavy-hitters dropping – the UCS Republic Gunship and Volkswagen T2 Campervan, with the LEGO Ideas Sailboat Adventure GWP sweeting the deal.

    The UCS Gunship should drop at midnight, so be quick if you don’t want to miss out.

    Rounding out the release schedule is also new wave of LEGO Star Wars, Technic and LEGO Super Mario, and a trio of Marvel sets – 76200 Bro Thor’s New Asgard, and two new What If…? sets – 76201 Captain Carter and the Hydra Stomper, and 76194 Tony Stark’s Sakaarian Iron Man.

    If you’re in the United States, 1 August 2021 also heralds the official launch of all the new Summer sets, which the rest of the world got in June 2021.

    LEGO August 2021 Gift with Purchases

    The major GWP (gift with purchase) of August is 40487 Sailboat Adventures set which will be available when you spend US$200 / £200 / AU$279 online on LEGO.com, from 1 August onwards.

    LEGO VIP members get early access, from 1 – 3 August 2021, before the general release, which will be available from 4 – 29 August while stocks last.

    This is likely going to go very quickly, with all the hot August releases.

    Additionally, to celebrate the upcoming release of Shang-chi, you’ll receive a 30454 Shang-Chi and The Great Protector polybag when you spend AU$109 / £40 / US$40 on any LEGO Marvel set from 1-15 August onwards while stocks last.

    LEGO.com & LEGO Store Exclusives Launches (worldwide)

    The biggest exclusive releases in August are hands down the UCS Republic Gunship and Volkswagen T2 Campervan, but don’t sleep on the La Catrina Brickheadz which is one of the most outstanding Brickheadz LEGO have ever produced.

    LEGO Technic 2HY 2021

    For Technnic fans, two big heavy hitters will be launching in August, the 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck and Heavy-duty Tow Truck.

    LEGO Star Wars 2HY 2021

    Fans of the Clone Wars, and The Mandalorian are in for a treat with one of the best LEGO Star waves we’ve seen in a long time. My pick out of the lot are Boba Fett’s Starship, Duel on Mandalore and the Mandalorian Starfighter.

    LEGO Super Mario Wave 3 2021

    LEGO Super Mario opens up two-player mode with the new Luigi Starter Course for some multiplayer action, but the jewel of this wave is undoutedly Bowser’s Airship.
