Is LEGO teasing sets based on the Wicked Movie?

During the Super Bowl, a teaser for the upcoming Wicked movie aired, and LEGO alluded to the ad with a very curious tweet, wondering if LEGO bricks could defy gravity.

While it’s a cute little nod to the song from Wicked the Musical, it does make me think that there could be more to it, and it’s a tease of an upcoming LEGO Wicked set, which might coincide with the movie, when it premieres on 27 November 2024.

Just in time for Black Friday!

LEGO have plenty of precedent here, and technically the Wicked Witch does exist as a minifigure thanks to LEGO Dimensions and we also had Flying Monkey minifigures in 70917 The Ultimate Batmobile from The LEGO Batman Movie.

LEGO does have a cosy relationship with Universal, including the upcoming Piece by Piece Pharrell LEGO documovie, so more licensed products based on Universal movies can definitely be expected!

What do you think? Would you buy a LEGO set based on Wicked?

I loved the musical. But I don’t need a big Wizard of Oz set to make this a fun pick up for kids and collectors — just put together a fun 29.99 set with the lead characters in front of an emerald gate or Oz interior …. all of them are easy editions to the Medieval Town Square….

So the corpirate globalist illuminaughty further push their evil sub liminal agendas of making hero’s from villians and villians from hero’s, as they do in real life. Witchery ? Taylor Swift? Kelce on a pHARMa leash. Lol sleepy planet.

I would love a Wicked LEGO set. Haven’t seen the Broadway show (its on my bucket list) and I love the music from it along with its story. If LEGO does make a Wicked set, it might be my second day 1 purchase ever made. The first was Winnie the Pooh.

I saw that last night and I am so hoping for a Wicked set!!
