LEGO 40681 Retro Food Truck GWP could be yours if you spend big in January 2024

LEGO’s online store has given us our very first look at the January 2024 GWP – 40681 Retro Food Truck, which will be available as a gift with purchase from 1-16 January 2024, and again from 1-7 April 2024.

It’s a cute little blue food truck that’s found within the LEGO Icons range, and is meant to be paired with 10326 Natural History Museum (which got released earlier), but this looks like a tidy little build that’s perfect for your LEGO Cityscape.

  • 40681 Retro Food Truck – free when you spend US$190 / AU$310 / £170 / €190 or more on LEGO.com from 1-16 January 2024.

Update 2: can finally confirm that 40681 Retro Food Truck will be available in Australia and New Zealand from 8-18 January 2024 when you spend AU$310/NZD$330 on LEGO.com

Update: It looks like this set has been delayed in Australia and New Zealand. Best to hold off and wait until it shows up if you have a big purchase panned for January.

Thankfully, there’s plenty to order on January, but that will sting a little for those not wiling to spend big.

40681 Retro Food Truck will be available as a GWP when you spend £170/€190 or more on LEGO.com from 1-16 January 2024, and again in April from 1-7 April 2024.

Lego customer support says it should be released on the 8th of January in Australia and the price to qualify is $310 AUD.

This does look like a nice little food truck! I was surprised to see that the ice cream truck (60253) is just now getting phased out, as I have seen it on store shelves longer than most other sets. I also really like the Burger Truck (60404) coming in January! Can’t wait until you get a review of that one.

That truck looks cool.. And since I am planning on buying the A frame cabin set next month, I will add a few brickheadz spring festival mickey mouse to the order.. That will make it to $200

The Brothers Brick has already posted a review of this set and it looks pretty nice, although purchase threshold looks way too high 🙁
