LEGO 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera celebrates Disney 100 and even comes with a Walt Disney minifigure

The LEGO Disney 100 magic continues with the reveal of 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera, a beautiful and poignant homage to Disney’s 100th anniversary.

The build celebrates Walt Disney’s influence in film history with a really cool brick-built vintage film camera, complete with what seems to be a film strip element that includes plenty of iconic D`isney animation shots on it.

43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera has a release date of 1 September, and is now available to pre-order on LEGO.com. I normally don’t encourage pre-ordering, but I’d jump on this one as I expect this to be incredibly popular.

See below for regional pricing and product pages.

One of 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera‘s best features is the minifigure lineup, there’s a small vignette included as well as a Walt Disney minifigures, and a black and white Mickey and Minnie Mouse, AND a Bambi and Dumbo minifigure, just to augment this set with even more LEGO Disney magic.

This is going to be an instant best-seller for so many reasons, and I think a must-have to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary.

There are so many things I love about the design, especially the incorporation of the Disney 100 number logo into the film camera design, and just how classy this looks as a display piece.

With an incredibly accessible US$99.99 / €89.99 pricetag, and with so many incredible Disney icons included in the set, I can see this being a megahit for the LEGO Disney theme, especially as we begin to head into the Christmas holiday season.

43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera will be released on 1 September, and will be available from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

Thanks to Brickset for the heads up on this!

    i dunno…………………………
I heard in a documentary that Walt was a bit of a …….
and that he was a Nazi
Maybe Im wrong, but lego shouldn’t enshrine a man like that in brick form.

    • Jill Gooch says:

      Lol you’re a nazi.. that’s funny.

    • GJ Bricks says:

      Gross you shouldn’t admit that you being… “that” on a public blog. Uncool. Now I can’t look at you the same way. ;-;

    • Håkan says:

I don’t think he was a strict nazi, but when nazis tried to get a foot in American business ventures, he apparently attended some early meetings in case it would prove financially beneficial.

Later, he changed suit and supported the war effort, although that could have been decided mainly for business reasons, as well.

    • Terry Smelker says:

None of that is true. It’s really easy to tell misleading stories about someone who’s been long dead, as are most everyone who could vouch for them. Do you buy Disney toys or go see Disney movies? If so, then you’re ‘enshrining’ him as well.

I’d like receive info on new Lego sets that are coming out.

  3. G says:

This set is definitely not worth the 100$. Should be 70$ at best. 80 tops. Definitely just gonna sit on shelves, then go on clearance, then retire after 9 months to a year due to lack of activity. Just like most of the other big Disney structures. Like the Micky and Minnie build.

  4. GJBricks says:

Oh LEGO you wicked mistress. That looks like a great set and if that price is right, not terrible value for a licensed set. And DUMBO AND BAMBI!!!! Hooray!

  5. Jill Gooch says:

How amazing is this! It is definitely a must have for any Disney fan.
