LEGO 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage revealed!

The LEGO Kids website has given us our very first look at 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, a massively detailed 2,228-piece LEGO Disney set coming soon!

It has a release date of 1 March 2024 for LEGO Insiders, ahead of a 4 March 2024 general release and will be available exclusively from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

This is a gorgeous take on the Seven Dwarf’s Cottage from the iconic Disney animation, with building techniques and a scale that’s near MOC-quality.

See below for regional pricing and product pages:

The best part is that the LEGO Snow White set comes with a whopping 10 minifigures including all Seven Dwarfs, Happy, Doc, Grumpy, Dopey, Bashful, Sleepy, and Sneezy, as well as Snow White, Prince Florian, and the Evil Queen in her Evil Witch disguise.

Snow White and Prince Florian were included in last year’s 43222 Disney Castle.

Minidolls are pretty good for Disney Princess characters, but I’m glad LEGO went with minifigures as the Dwarfs just look great and so animated and expressive!

Oh yeah, and if you weren’t convinced that this set was going to be a banger, there’s also Snow White’s glass coffin included as well!

Here’s a look at back of the Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage which is open to revealed detailed interiors, including beds for the Dwarfs and their dining table as well!

See below for more photos showing off details of the interiors.

I cannot adequately express how excited I am for this set! I hope it is coming out March 1st, I’m not sure I can wait much longer. I love all the details, from the cottage roof to the kettle in the fire, the animals to the gems and especially the glass coffin. All the characters top it off very nicely too.
This will make a fantastic addition to everyone’s Disney collection.

  2. Mr Classic says:

Not photos, renders. Looks like a great set though. Yet another new tile used for the beds.

    • Keven says:

I hadn’t considered renders for some reason – my boomer brain was thinking Photoshopped photos or a “hero brick” manufacturing process. Thanks for the insight!

  3. May says:

It seems like it won’t come with paper instructions?

  4. Ted says:

This looks to me like at least the second time Lego took a “rejected” Ideas submission and made their own nearly identical version (the other I can think of being the Jurassic Park gate).

  5. DM says:

I’m definitely getting it. Very interesting how it swings open from the front too, making the inside a bit accessible without having to turn it all the way around.

  6. David says:

I don’t like this trend for open back adult buildings. Medieval Village is the same.

  7. Warren says:

I’m wishing, I’m wishing, this set came with an alternate Snow White minifigure in her white/brown tattered outfit. Otherwise a fine set. It’s got to be at least $259.99 USD given the piece count and number of figures, plus licensing tax.

  8. Brick HQ says:

    This set looks amazing
If it’s $200 then this set is a must have
    Hopefully it’s not overpriced
It’s very good that Lego went with minifigures for this set, they should keep doing it
There are a lot of great recolors in this set. I think the latch piece on the door might be new
