The Australian LEGO Certified Store has given us our very first look at 76224 Batmobile: Batman vs The Joker Chase which is set to be released on 1 August 2023 and will retail for AU$72.99.
LEGO are going hard on Tim Burton’s Batman this year, and for those unable to drop a huge stack of cash on 76252 Batcave Shadow Box, this is a fairly attainable option to get your hands on Michael Keaton’s Batmobile.
This 438-piece set includes two minifigures – Batman featuring a brand new cowl with whited out eyes, and the Joker.

It looks fairly decent, and almost identical to the Batmobile in the Batcave Shadow Box, save for a few tiny differences, most noticeably with the rims and intakes.
With Michael Keaton’s Batman getting a second breath of life in the new Flash movie, LEGO are clearly betting that there’ll be plenty of interest in this 1989-style Batman Batmobile in a Minifigure-scale.
Wasn’t it this set that was rumored to be based on The Flash movie before all the Miller Time Mischief… Or am I mixing things up?…
This is not fair.
They are bringing out too many cool sets I want!
Looks like an affordable way to get a Speed Champion scale 1989 Batmobile. Sure beats paying $250 for a 40433.
