LEGO Fortnite officially announced with new game mode starting 7 December 2023

The LEGO Group and Epic Games today announced LEGO Fortnite, a new survival crafting game that will go live inside Fortnite starting 7 December 2023.

LEGO Fortnite will be the first play experience to come from LEGO’s long term partnership with Epic Games to develop fun and safe digital spaces for children and families.

No sets have officially been announced or revealed, but in this image above, you can get a look at what’s likely to be some of the new characters, minifigures and builds that may appear in-game, or as LEGO sets. Notice that there’s also the 71469 Nightmare Shark Ship from LEGO DreamZzz suggesting more cross-pollination between themes.

Here’s the announcement trailer on Youtube

Within LEGO Fortnite, players can explore vast, open worlds where the magic of LEGO building and Fortnite collide. Designed for people of all ages to enjoy together, the game will encourage creativity, experimentation and collaboration through play.

This is the first we’ve seen of LEGO’s billion-dollar investment in Epic Games, and the start of what should be a pretty exciting partnership.

Heya. wondering if you knew anything about the LEGO Fortnite minifigs that are on eBay. Specifically the plain white torso pieces with Fortnite graphics on them. Reckon they’re fake?
