LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village officially unveiled and pre-orders are available now!
After an inadvertent early reveal yesterday, LEGO have officially revealed the 51st LEGO Ideas set, 21343 Viking Village!
Update: You can now pre-order the set from LEGO.com in the US, UK, Canada and Europe!
Update 2: Check out my review of the LEGO Viking Village before you decide to order it!
LEGO fans excited for a second Viking-themed set in the span of two years will be able to delve into this detailed display model when it gets released on 1 October 2023.
For a 2,103-piece set, I’m most surprised by the incredible value packed into the set, with the Viking Village being priced at a very reasonable US$129.99 / AU$209.99 which is a really competitive price for a set this large and detailed.
In the US, the set will be a retailer exclusive to Target, but will also be available direct from LEGO.com and your local LEGO store. Elsewhere in the world, expect to find this set wherever LEGO Ideas sets are sold.

The LEGO Viking Village depicts a wooden village with heavy influences of medieval Scandinavian architecture that evokes comparisons to depictions in How to Train Your Dragon, as well as Rohan from Lord of the Rings.
The set comes with 4 minifigures, which is probably one of the weakest departments, but thankfully, you can always augment the Viking horde with minifigures from 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent or just order the minifigure parts from Pick a Brick online.
I really like the design, and how great it looks from all angles, as well as the easy access to the interiors, which makes 21343 Viking Village looks like one of those rare sets that is adept at both being a display model, but also invites you to play with it.
I can’t wait for this one as I love the aesthetics, and vibe of LEGO Vikings, and have fond memories of the older Viking sets from 2005-2006. All I need to do is add the 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent, some dragons and we have a great base for a expansive LEGO Vikings scene.
21343 Viking Village will be available from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store from 1 October 2023.
What do you think of 21343 Viking Village? Will you be planning to pick this one up when it launches in October?
