LEGO Mario Kart teased for 2025 and new LEGO Super Mario sets revealed!
To celebrate MAR10 Day (aka Mario Day), LEGO have dropped a huge bombshell of a teaser for the future of LEGO Super Mario, with Mario Kart sets confirmed to be coming in 2025!
In an 8-minute video which also revealed a trio of new LEGO Super Mario sets coming in August, LEGO closed out the Mar10 Day reveal video with an exciting teaser, featuring a silhouette of a Mario Kart, as well as the Mario Figure, suggesting that we’re going to see more LEGO Mario figure functionality well into next year.
LEGO did sort of include Mario Kart as a teaser, as you get an engine icon on LEGO Mario when it interacts with 71431 Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set!
Last year, I did predict that we’d get LEGO Mario Kart sets, so it’s nice to see this being confirmed, and I hope they are at least fun to play with, and will breathe some fresh air into the theme. However you may feel about LEGO Super Mario, a Rainbow Road set is the stuff of dreams!
Sorry for those eagerly anticipating LEGO Mario Minifigures, but it looks like LEGO and Nintendo are continuing to back the LEGO Mario format..
In other news, 3 other LEGO Super Mario sets were also revealed, and fans will be able to get their hands on these later this year in August 2024! Check out more photos below!
