LEGO Mini Steamboat Willie (40659) and Houses of the World 4 GWPs now available online!

We’re in the final week of October, and right on schedule, LEGO has dropped two more gifts with purchases, with 40659 Mini Steamboat Willie and also the final 40599 Houses of the World 4 becoming available if you hit purchase thresholds on LEGO.com.

For all the offers and promotions in your specific region, check out the pages below for the most up-to-date information!

  • [global] 40659 Mini Steamboat Willie when you spend US$100 / AU$170 / £95 / €100 / CAD$TBD on LEGO Disney, Duplo, Star Wars, and Marvel from 23-31 October 2023
  • [global] 40599 Houses of the World 4 when you spend US$250 / AU$400 / £220 / €250 or more on LEGO.com

Update: It looks like 40659 Mini Steamboat Willie has sold out in Australia. It looks like it’s still available from the LEGO Certified Store

The 40659 Mini Steamboat Willie is a final hurrah from LEGO and Disney to celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary, and is likely the final Disney-themed set for 2023, rounding out a magical celebration of all things Disney.

I’m really glad that the qualification threshold is quite low, and that it’s also open to not only LEGO Disney sets, but also Marvel and Star Wars. And yes, if you’re thinking of picking up a last minute Halloween-themed set, the LEGO Ideas Hocus Pocus set will also qualify for Steamboat Willie.

See below for all the specific offers and promotions in your reason. Be sure to also check out the Sale section as there might be sets on sale to take advantage of.

The Mini Steamboat Willie is a cute little tribute to Mickey Mouse’s animated debut, and is a miniaturised version of the 2019 LEGO Ideas version, 21317 Steamboat Willie.

Like its bigger brother, the designer also managed to squeeze in the mechanical functions into the set, and it features a new and updated black and white Mickey Mouse minifigure.

Keep an eye out for a quick review soon!

Also making an appearance is the fourth and final 40599 Houses of the World 4 set, which will cost a whopping US$250 / AU$400 / £220 / €250 to trigger.

It’s the fourth and final build in the series, following 40594 Houses of the World 3 (August), 40590 Houses of the World 2 (April) and 40583 Houses of the World 1 (January), for those looking to complete the set showcasing different architectural styles from across the world.

Like previous Houses of the world releases, I don’t think this week is the only week it’ll be available, as they will usually pop up again, so I think it’s safe to wait on a slightly better combination of offers and GWPs if 40659 Mini Steamboat Willie is not to your taste.

For example, I can totally see 40599 Houses of the World 4 being available during the upcoming LEGO Insiders Weekend which runs from 18-19 November 2023.

Happy shopping!

Why is steamboat willie not showing up when I put new zealand as my home country, but when I select USA it shows up saying it’s available

  2. Stephen says:

It looks like the Mini Steamboat Willie set is not currently available in Australia. I’ve just been to the Lego website to purchase some Disney sets I’ve been holding off on, and the Mini Steamboat Willie promotion is nowhere to be seen.

Has it sold out within minutes or hours of release again?

It was up and I had it in cart but when I went to pay and page refreshed it disappeared. shame on Lego. ACCC anyone?! They should have enough stock for until 31/10 when it said it ended.

    • Jay Ong says:

Oh no, looks like it’s sold out. Try the LEGO Certified Store https://lego.bricksmegastore.com/ as they seem like they still have them in stock

      • Stephen says:

Can’t get it through there either.
Lego really needs to get their act together. I think I’ll just purchase the sets I’d like elsewhere seeing as they don’t value their VIP members enough to keep their GWP’s in stock for any reasonable length of time.
But, as usual, you can buy the Mini Steamboat Willie on eBay for a ridiculous price.

I think I’m going to stop purchasing Lego sets for a while now because this has happened to me more often than I’d like to remember

Love LegoMasters and am very glad that it got renewed for next season. The show is a lot of fun and looking forward to each weeks challenge . Great for all ages. A+
Even got my bride to watch an episode since she is not as big a Lego maniac like I am.
Keep it up please . Tx
