It’s Star Wars Day tomorrow, but the festivities begin early with the much-anticipated release of LEGO 75244 Tantive IV for LEGO VIPs. The public release is tomorrow, but it’s super easy to sign up for a VIP account, so why wouldn’t you?

The Tantive isn’t the only thing dropping that will excite Star Wars fans on May the 4th as LEGO are running a ton of special and promos online and in-store.
The most interesting one is the 40333 microscale Battle of Hoth – 20th Anniversary vignette, which is free with Star Wars purchases over US$75 (AU$199 in Australia) as well as a free poster.

Happening at Westfield Chatswood, LEGO Australia celebrates the 20th Anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, inviting fans tp take part in the world’s largest LEGO Star Wars unboxing on May the 4th and 5th.
Saturday 4th May – 10am Unboxing
Help Australia’s only LEGO Certified Professional Builder, Ryan McNaught and LEGO Star Wars Creative Director Jens Kronvold Frederikson unbox and build the secret LEGO Star Wars model

Final brick moment. The event continues until around 6pm

Star Wars Day Celebration at Legoland Discovery Centre Chadstone
For us Melburnians, the Legoland Discovery Centre will be holding a bunch of activities celebrating Star Wars, including a Make and Take where you can build your very own mini Millennium Falcon (pictured above).
The Battle of Hoth Microscale set will also be available and will come free with purchases of Star Wars sets worth AU$199 and over.
There will also be selected sets on sale, and 50% off Star Wars keyrings.
The best part is that these activities will run on the balcony outside the centre, so you don’t need to purchase a ticket or pass to take advantage of these offers!
