LEGO Star Wars isn’t the only theme with a monopoly over these helmet builds, and this joins the 76165 Iron Man Helmet, 76187 Venom and 76199 Carnage in Marvel’s very own helmet collection.
The dimensions of the LEGO Star-Lord helmet are 18 cm high, 12 cm wide and 13 cm deep.
As Star-Lord’s helmet is quite distinctive, and angular, I think it works particularly well as a helmet, although without a face or Peter Quill’s hair, it does look like something is missing.
Something that should excite fans is that it seems like there are no, or hardly any stickers, as most of the decorations such as the compound eyes design, mouthpiece, and name plaque are printed! Hooray!
Oh, and because it’s hollow… LEGO have literally suggested using it as a pencil or stationery holder in the lifestyle images provided. I think it’s hilarious but works pretty well!

Oh, and I did a little bit of digging into the price of helmets, and have prepared this pricing matrix of all existing and current helmets, across Star Wars and Marvel.
Not sure if there’s any rhyme or reason, but boy, does this put into perspective just how expensive this Star-Lord helmet is. Is it the price of printed elements?
