40601 Majisto’s Magical Workshop is another nostalgic 2023 remake of 6048 Majisto’s Magical Workshop from 1993. The set celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and includes the Blue Wizard Majisto, and a Dragon Knight minifigure.

Unfortunately, the Dragon Helm or Shield isn’t included but we do get a modern version of the torso!

40602 Winter Market Stall looks to be an excellent addition to your LEGO Winter Village with a cute little Market Stall, two minifigures, and even a small tree and Snowman.

Thanks for a really useful post.

    Do the offers stack up?
E.g. If I bought the Avengers Tower and got the Marvel Taxi gift, would I also get the Majisto’s Magical Workshop as well? Would I also get the Winter Market Stall, or to get that would you need a purchase of more than the minimum, but also less than the amount for the workshop?

    Thank you 🙂

  2. Andy says:

Spotted that in the U.K. at least there’s a mug and cookie cutter set free with certain purchases.

For example it says £60 of Ninjago and/or Friends.

I assume that means that as long as I spend a total across the two ranges I qualify? (Eg £20 Ninjago and £40 on friends) rather than £60 on one theme?

Would it also work if I was to spend £60 total, but only some of that is on a qualifying theme? (Eg £40 Friends + £20 Technic)?

  3. Andrew says:

I loved the original Majisto; his cute little eyes, beard and torso were so good. I was absolutely crushed when I saw the redesign in Lion Knights’ Castle; such a downgrade. This appears to be the exact same terrible redesign. Honestly I don’t know what they were thinking

  4. Joshua says:

Can I cancel my current modular preorder and reorder to get the GWP? Do I have to add an item that ships to make sure I get it?

    • Jay Ong says:

Yes, you can cancel your pre-order and re-order it. Just get in touch with LEGO’s customer service and they will sort it out for you.

No you don’t have to add an item. I’m not 100% sure how it works elsewhere, but in Australia, if you make a pre-order and GWPs get added, the GWPs usually get shipped out separately.

I love LEGO Castle and I have the original 6048 set from when I bought it back in 1993. Wow. That was 30yrs ago. I’m old. Ugh. LOL Getting the new Majisto’s Magical Workshop is going to be a must for me.

    • Jay Ong says:

Should be a good opportunity with Double Insiders and if you have something big on your wishlist like the new Modular!

      • OrdinarilyBob says:

Oh, so the double points are now confirmed? Excellent! $400 AU though? I look forward to your update on the US thresholds. I know one thing I’ll get pre-ordered is the Dune Ornithopter, not sure what else, as I’m pretty caught up getting other recent GWPs. Grumble, grumble. Who am I kidding? One can ALWAYS find more LEGO to buy. LOL

  6. Andrew says:

In Australia, thresholds are $280 for Winter Market, $400 for Majisto. Mug and cookie set is free with $105 purchase of City, DUPLO, Friends, DREAMZzz, HP and/or NINJAGO. Double points also confirmed on the website.

There are also some discounts (via Insiders redemption) on selected sets.

  7. Jake says:

Not impressed with either gwp. Majisto is bland and the stall is boring . So disappointing
