New LEGO Avatar Way of the Water 2023 sets revealed!

LEGO’s official website has revealed the range of 2023 LEGO Avatar Way of the Water sets, with 5 brand new sets featuring scenes, characters and marine creatures from the upcoming movie.

The new sets will have a release date of 1 January 2023, so it’ll be a bit of a wait after Avatar: Way of the Water premieres in cinemas on 16 December 2023 to get to play with the new sets.

You can currently preorder 75576 Skimwing Adventure and 75578 Metkayina Reef Home if you’re in the US.

The new sets look really cool, and introduces the underwater setting of the exoplanetary moon of Pandora, and with it, comes a whole new menagerie of alien creatures, and a new lighter-toned variant of the Na’Vi which call the oceans home.

I also like that the price points for these sets are a lot more varied, especially at the lower end, ensuring that kids and LEGO fans can get to experience some of these cool new LEGO Avatar creatures and settings without breaking the bank.

Also really love the Tulkun, the new brick-built Alien Whale!

There are plenty of cool new elements, but this bow which looks like it’ll be able to fire arrows as a projectile looks really fun, and now that I’ve gotten used to the tall Avatar minifigures, seeing these 2 with regular and medium legs just looks a little funny.
