Score this LEGO Marvel Taxi as a GWP when you buy the LEGO Avengers Tower on Black Friday

The LEGO Online Store has given us an official look at 5008076 LEGO Marvel Taxi, the exclusive gift with purchase when you purchase the massive 76269 Avengers Tower at launch.

You’ll need to be a LEGO Insiders member (free to sign up), and it will only be available from 24-27 November 2023, when you order 76269 Avengers Tower from LEGO.com.

Thanks to a LEGO Black Friday preview livestream, we also got a closer look at the details of the GWP. The set features a very location-appropriate yellow New York taxi, and 4 minifigures – Black Panther, two Outriders, and a taxi driver.

Technically, there’s only one exclusive minifigure in the set – the Taxi Driver, although the elements that are used for him aren’t exclusive to this set. The Black Panther is the same as the one from 76212 Shuri’s Lab, so no stress about missing out on something if you aren’t in a position to drop US$500 / AU$760 / £430 on 24-27 November 2023.

The only thing that’s unique about the set is the stickers used, including this license plate, which has the Avengers Tower set number, and initials on it.

Oh, and a spare Kevin Feige baseball cap is also included in the back of the taxi!

Ultimately, it’s not a hugely consequential GWP, but designed more like 40598 Gringotts Vault that complements the mega-sized, mega-priced set, should you choose to get it early.

With LEGO gearing up for a massive Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign, you can also expect more sweeteners thrown in, so it’s very likely that you’ll be able to net other GWPs and bonuses simultaneously if the Avengers Tower is on your wishlist.

If you’re a Marvel completionist, I’d say it’s worth it to jump at it on Black Friday if you’re in the position to do so. I think the Avengers Tower will be a highly popular set, and with a slew of other concurrent offers, I can see this Marvel Taxi being produced in quite limited numbers as well. Don’t sit on it if you’re considering it!
