Slight change with the LEGO Ideas Winnie the Pooh release times

March 17, 2021 By Jay 13 Comments

The release of one of the most anticipated LEGO sets of 2021 (so far!) – the LEGO Winnie the Pooh Ideas set is almost upon us. LEGO VIPs (free to sign up), get early access to the set on 18 March 2021 however LEGO have announced a slight tweak to the release time – an hour later than usual!

New LEGO sets usually (I say usually because they can sometimes change on a whim – remember Ninjago City Gardens?) go up on sale at around midnight local time (AEDT here in Australia) on the day they launch.

See below for regional links:

  • LEGO 21326 Winnie the Pooh [US] – US$99.99
  • LEGO 21326 Winnie the Pooh [AUS] – AU$159.99
  • LEGO 21326 Winnie the Pooh [UK] – £89.99
  • LEGO 21326 Winnie the Pooh [EU] – €99.99
  • LEGO 21326 Winnie the Pooh [CAN] – CA$139.99

For Winnie the Pooh, we’ve been told that the set will go online at about 1am local time, so best to prepare accordingly if you’ve set your mind to be the first to get your paws on the new set.

Now, take this with a grain of salt, because LEGO’s E-Commerce/Online Shop team could somehow change, but do try refreshing LEGO.com at about midnight just to be safe.

To see what I thought of the set and see more photos, be sure to read my LEGO Winnie the Pooh review.

To see the set come to life, you can also check out my speed build on my Youtube channel!

Bonus Gift with Purchases

If you order the LEGO Winnie the Pooh set, you’ll also qualify for this year’s Easter Bunny Carrot House promotional set when you spend over US$100, AU$139 or £60 online or at your local LEGO store.

Thanks to The Brick Fan, we also can expect these adorable illustrated sketches of LEGO Winnie the Pooh and Friends in the VIP Section which you can redeem with your VIP points.

Hope this prepares you for the imminent LEGO Winnie the Pooh launch. Will you be ordering a set on day one? Let me know in the comments!

How do you do the backorder? I am in the US. The website just says temporarily out of stock. There is availability in the UK and EU but I don’t live there! Ugh.

Ahhh, that option might turn up soon. That said, there’ll be a lot more during the general release on 1 April, so keep an eye out at midnight as there should be a restock then.

I have just ordered it! On top of the free Carrot House you can also try to claim a free mystery polybag. Search Google if it’s available for your country. Here are some of the promo codes: GBPP (Britain), PPNL (Holland), PPBE (Belgium).

Guess you didn’t notice (and it’s too
late to check now) but next to the 1:00am time it didn’t say AEDT, it said something like CET. When I saw that I even checked I was still in the Aus region on Lego dot com. I was. Anyway I promptly ignored it and just went in a few minutes after midnight in Sydney and placed my order.

Sorry, that’s why I included the disclaimer. The communications from LEGO wasn’t the greatest on this and I didn’t want people to wait unnecessarily!

It was weird this time. But seeing it turn up at midnight gives me confidence future releases will be similar. 👍

Here I am, at 1am, having just ordered. Man, this is nuts – takes me back to lining up all night for concert tickets in the 70s. Wish I’d seen your post about the sketches available for VIPs before having done so of course.

Fans of 1960s Batman and Adam West rejoice! I've got an early review copy of the soon-to-be-released 76188 Classic TV Series Batmobile which launches on 26 April!

Hit the link in bio to read my full review!

A nice little update to the Classic Batcave version, especially if you missed out on the 2016 set.

Love how inexpensive this little set is, and I liked how well it functions as a display model that doesn't require a ton of space.

It's finally here! So glad I can finally share my It's finally here! So glad I can finally share my review of the @LEGO Looney Tunes Minifigures!

Hit the link in bio to read my review and see all 12 characters!

Really enjoyed the insane level of detail packed into these iconic characters, and while the accessories were lacklustre, Looney Tunes has such a rich heritage of iconic designs and characters that works so well as minifigures.

Shout out to @cheepjokes for hooking me up with a complete set because my review box hasn't made it to me just yet 🥶

Lots of stickers, lots of teeth and not enough Sym Lots of stickers, lots of teeth and not enough Symbiote tendrils.

My early review of 76199 Carnage is now live on the blog, hit the link in bio to read, or swipe through the gallery to see more photos!

If you enjoy LEGO’s Helmet collection, or are a big Carnage/Spider-Man fan Carnage will be a no-brainer addition to your collection.

With all my helmets currently on display, Carnage is the ones that stands out the most, in a good way, and I like that they’re expanding Marvel’s helmet collection.

I do think that there’s a wasted opportunity here with the lack of tentacles, or Symbiote tendrils sticking out from the back. I know it will technically break the Helmets’ style and design language, but for a character like Carnage, it feels like a massive miss to not have anything stick out.

Will you be picking up 76199 Carnage?

🚨 BREAKING: Effective immediately, the LEGO Gro 🚨 BREAKING: Effective immediately, the LEGO Group announced that it would be strengthening its commitment to Child Safety and Safe Play by mandating that proof of age identification be presented when purchasing all 18+ adult-focused sets, online or at LEGO Brand Retail Stores.

LEGO sets being purchased by adults have quadrupled in the last year compared to a decade ago, as adults flock towards the LEGO brick, a trend that was accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

To prevent these 18+ sets from falling into the wrong and age-inappropriate hands, The LEGO Group will now require its customers to provide the following proof of age documents: driver’s license, passport, social security card (USA) or any other valid government-issued form of identification.

“At the LEGO Group, child safety is our number one priority” says Søren Christiansen, Senior Child Safety Compliance Officer.

“Following complaints from parents, we cannot afford to expose impressionable children or teenagers to adults-only sets like Winnie the Pooh. The LEGO 18+ label has allowed us to broaden our product portfolio and explore adult-themes like 123 Sesame Street, which would be highly inappropriate for children.”
