Sneak peek at 2024 LEGO Friends sets!

A Finnish retailer has given us a sneak peek and preview of 5 upcoming 2024 LEGO Friends sets, including a massive set with the number 42639 featuring an incredibly modern (and fancy) mansion, with more of the original main characters making a return!

  • 42621 Heartlake City Hospital
  • 42614 Vintage Fashion Store
  • 42608 Mini Boutique
  • 42639
  • 42620 Olly and Paisley’s Family Home

We don’t have piece counts, thanks to a previous listing, we do have the January 2024 LEGO Friends set names.

42639 looks like a Mansion belonging to Andrea. I guess Andrea’s pop star/music career really took off for her to afford such an opulent home.

We can also see Leo fan-boying and trying to get a selfie with Olivia out the front.

This is also the very first 14+ LEGO Friends set, so you can expect some really challenging build techniques here, and I think it’s something that might appeal to adult builders too, especially as this type of modern architecture isn’t something you see very often.

Most excitingly, this set is billed as a friendship reunion, as we get the original main characters Andrea, Emma, Olivia, Stephanie, and Mia, who are all grown up in this set. Mia is of course Autumn’s mum and appeared in 41730 Autumn’s House, and Stephanie was in 41748 Heartlake Community Centre.

While the photos aren’t super clear, we can also notice some new leaf elements, in lavender and green in some of these photos, which look really promising as it’s always a great occasion to get new plant animals.

The photos aren’t the best, so we’ll have to wait for the official photos to pore over all the details, but 2024 is definitely shaping up as another fantastic year for LEGO Friends.

WOW JUST WOW! I love Andreas pop star house! But in olly and paisley’s fam house WHY IS OLLY (aka my fav character) WEARING THOSE ROUNDY JEANS?? 🤦🏽‍♀️ BRUH

  2. Kent says:

To be honest, I was rather disappointed by the recent reveal of the Friends shopping mall, because it really didn’t seem to offer anything new over the previous LEGO Friends shopping mall, except for a slightly better color scheme. But these sneak peeks of the January wave are proving that, once again, the Friends product line is a force to be reckoned with! Olivia’s house is jaw-dropping, and I find it fascinating that we are getting a better version of Paisley’s house, after the lackluster 4+ version. The liberal use of the fern elements, along with the new plant leaf foliage elements (perhaps created for the next Dreamzzz wave?), make these very appealing.

Just noticed newer, bigger fern leaf elements being used for part of the palm trees next to the mansion. The smaller, original fern leaf elements are on the top, with the new, wider ones underneath them.

  3. Tom Benda says:

It also looks like we’re going to get a new mudguard color!

  4. Lorrs says:

Unexpected to get all 5 old friends in one set. Also I has seen set name of only and paisley home I thought maybe they were becoming step siblings, but this is even better with the 2 houses, really like the look of them

  5. Kasia says:

Autumn, what did they do to your hand (it’s about 42621)?

  6. Lorraine O'Mahoney says:

I love the pop star mansion.

The new leaf elements remind me of the early Lego trees which were flat.

I still have some of the tress with yhe tiny chunks of plastic as leaves
