Sneak peek at 2024 LEGO Friends sets!
A Finnish retailer has given us a sneak peek and preview of 5 upcoming 2024 LEGO Friends sets, including a massive set with the number 42639 featuring an incredibly modern (and fancy) mansion, with more of the original main characters making a return!
- 42621 Heartlake City Hospital
- 42614 Vintage Fashion Store
- 42608 Mini Boutique
- 42639
- 42620 Olly and Paisley’s Family Home
We don’t have piece counts, thanks to a previous listing, we do have the January 2024 LEGO Friends set names.
42639 looks like a Mansion belonging to Andrea. I guess Andrea’s pop star/music career really took off for her to afford such an opulent home.
We can also see Leo fan-boying and trying to get a selfie with Olivia out the front.
This is also the very first 14+ LEGO Friends set, so you can expect some really challenging build techniques here, and I think it’s something that might appeal to adult builders too, especially as this type of modern architecture isn’t something you see very often.
Most excitingly, this set is billed as a friendship reunion, as we get the original main characters Andrea, Emma, Olivia, Stephanie, and Mia, who are all grown up in this set. Mia is of course Autumn’s mum and appeared in 41730 Autumn’s House, and Stephanie was in 41748 Heartlake Community Centre.
While the photos aren’t super clear, we can also notice some new leaf elements, in lavender and green in some of these photos, which look really promising as it’s always a great occasion to get new plant animals.
The photos aren’t the best, so we’ll have to wait for the official photos to pore over all the details, but 2024 is definitely shaping up as another fantastic year for LEGO Friends.
