Sneak peek at LEGO Technic 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 Crawler Crane

A French online retailer, Cdiscount has given us a sneak peek of an upcoming mega-sized (and mega-priced) LEGO Technic set, 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 Crawler Crane!

There isn’t confirmed pricing yet but the page does have a pre-order up with a 1 August 2023 release date, suggesting that an official reveal is imminent!

Here’s the product description:

The LEGO Technic Liebherr crane only comes in at 2,883-pieces but the set is absolutely gargantuan, with the model standing at 100cm tall. I’m really curious to see it in action, as it is powered by 2 smart hubs and 6 motors, as well as the Control+ app functionality.

For fans of huge LEGO Technic construction vehicles, this is quite the sight to behold, and kinda crazy to see LEGO Technic vehicles at this scale – and I hope it works and pulls as good as it looks.
