Sneak peek at the LEGO Ideas 21345 Polaroid OneStep camera, set to be released January 2024!

Ahead of being officially revealed by LEGO, a Polish retailer has given us our very first look at an upcoming LEGO Ideas set – 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera which will be released on 1 January 2024!

Update: LEGO have officially revealed 21345 Polaroid OneStep Camera!

If you plan on purchasing the set or pre-ordering, please consider using the affiliate links above as I may earn a small commission with each successful purchase. It goes a long way in supporting the work I do on the blog!

The set is based on the Ideas submission from Minibrick Productions and LEGO have done a marvellous job capturing the colours, proportions and look of the iconic Polaroid OneStep.

We don’t have pricing yet, but we should get that once LEGO officially reveals the Polaroid on their website.

The set even comes with a new “element”, printed photographs featuring some really nice graphics, including a nod to The LEGO House in Billund, Denmark.

From the back of the box, you can also see the various functions as well as the dimensions of the LEGO Polaroid, which measures 9cm (3.5 in.) wide, and 9cm (3.5 in.) tall.

I think this looks immensely charming and LEGO have done a marvelous job bringing the iconic Polaroid Camera to life.

For fans of cameras and photography, this will also pair incredibly well 31147 Retro Camera which also comes out on the 1st of January!

What do you think of the LEGO Polaroid Camera? Let me know if you plan on picking this one up when its released!

I absolutely love this, it looks very much like the real thing. The estimated price I see elsewhere (EUR 80) seems excessive for 516 pieces, 9×9 cm and many stickers, though. And I can only assume these are photos made by that Polish retailer, not by LEGO – that extremely mouldy window pane isn’t very charming. 😉

  2. Luke Moses says:

No big deal, but it appears the front of the camera has two stickers rather than printed words. Neat concept being at a 1:1 scale.

  3. Andrew Gardiner says:

And don’t forget 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera. It’s tempting to make a “set”
