Thanks to Dutch retailer Brickshop, I’m now able to share some really grainy and low-res photos of three upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones sets featuring scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.
Update: Check out the official reveal and more photos of the 2023 LEGO Indiana Jones sets!
With Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role as Indiana Jones in the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny movie, LEGO has decided to bring back the legendary theme one more time, which is great news for those that were too young or in their dark ages during the original Indiana Jones run.
Three sets have been revealed so far, with more based on the new movie presumably coming in the second half of the year.
- 77012 Fighter Plane Chase – US$34.99 / AU$49.99 / £29.99 / €34.99 / CAD$44.99
- 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb – US$39.99/ AU$59.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / CAD$49.99
- 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol – US$149.99 / AU$239.99 / £129.99 / €149.99 / CAD$199.99
Hopefully we get the official reveal soon with more high resolution images for us to pore over, especially as some US stores have been found selling these sets early, which suggests the 1 June 2023 release date on the Brickshop website is inaccurate.

Wow, this looks just like the Adventurers theme from the 90s. I guess they were ripping off Indiana Jones then and this time around they managed to get licensing.
No Short Round??
The Temple of Doom set is currently a mystery, maybe he’ll show up there?
There’s been a bunch of – possibly somewhat conspiratory – theories that the set has been struck down due to its depiction of Indians, or the inclusion of a Kali statue, a goddess still widely worshipped in India.
Anyway, personally it’s my least favorite Indy movie, including Crystal Skull, but I realize that there are many that have nostalgic memories of it.
I love Indian Jones i am so glad that they are making some more sets
Between this and Jurassic Park, I too can’t help but enjoy all this nostalgia.
I built the Well of Souls when the first Indiana Jones sets came out. For the
first time, I like something I made better than the LEGO designers.

Love the snakes! Yours has way more pieces though, whereas LEGO designers are usually under plenty of budget/element restrictions!
Severaly lacking “Kalima” vibed set!
Hopefully we find out the Temple of Doom’s fate once LEGO officially reveals these!
77012 needs more seagulls….
hahaha
Can always order more on Pick a Brick!

Wish the new Jurassic park sets coming out were this nice and detailed.
Yeah, they tend to skew those to the kids. Im just getting them for the vehicles and figs.
At least the three JP sets before were less kiddy.
No reference to the allready existing sets as they are also recreating current sets or am i mistaken?
They each look to be specific updates to the original Indiana Jones wave, but modernised.
Really excited for these sets, not sure why the official release is being delayed so much?
Because they would reveal story and the word id that they have done reshoots etc. So sets can’t really be designed and made if they dont end up being in the film.
These sets cushion the blow and pad out the time. I think for Dial of Destiny the sets might be a post film reveal.
My guess is Disney being prescriptive with when/how they’re announced!
