LEGO is giving away 2017 San Diego Comic Con exclusives on Twitter

Apologies for missing this one yesterday, but LEGO are giving away San Diego Comic Con 2017 exclusives on Twitter! Unless you’re lucky enough to attend San Diego Comic Con to win one, this will be your ONLY chance at getting these highly coveted minifigures

Be sure to also read my editorial on SDCC Exclusives and why I think they’re a poor, outdated practice that just doesn’t belong with The LEGO Group’s ethos and values.

LEGO are giving away both the Vixen and Deadpool Duck minifigues, as well as the exclusive Brickheadz packs. All you need to do is retweet the giveaway tweet and that’s it!

Today’s giveaway is for Deadpool Duck, the most coveted Comic Con exclusive this year. It’s already selling for upwards of AU$350/US$275 on eBay so you can see just how popular this one is.

I don’t condone the practice, but if you must have Deadpool Duck, I recommend buying this one now. I wouldn’t be surprised if Deadpool Duck’s value hits $1,000 in a year or two.

Here’s the schedule of Comic Con exclusives that will be given out. Do note that these are American dates, so adjust accordingly wherever in the world you are.

July 20: LEGO Brickheadz: DC Supergirl & Martian Manhunter
July 21: LEGO Deadpool the Duck Minifigure
July 22: LEGO Brickheadz: Marvel Spiderman & Venom
July 23: LEGO Vixen Minifigure
Check back on this post as I’ll be embedding the giveaway tweets each day.

You can read more on the Terms & Conditions here. For the most part, LEGO Twitter giveaways are totally legit. I’ve been really lucky to have won one before, so I’d say it’s always worth a shot. All you need to do is have a Twitter account and retweet a post.
Good luck and I hope one of you wins one of them! It would make me feel slightly better about this whole charade if one of my readers could win one of the exclusives!

I really appreciate the fact that people like us will finally be able to get Lego exclusives even if we aren’t at Comic Con. In fact, I watched a video by just2good (A YouTuber, maybe you have heard of him) and I think he said the same thing about people that can’t go to Comic Con having to pay a lot of money if they want these exclusives. I agree with what you said about people not being able to get Lego exclusives being bad, and I think so many people were complaining about that so Lego decided to make them a little bit more accessible to the public.

    Nice job!
