A Limited Edition LEGO Store Sydney Tile could be yours this weekend

Great news Sydneysiders, a limited-edition LEGO Store Sydney tile is going to be made available in an Australian-first (but hopefully not last) event at the LEGO Certified Store Bondi Junction!

The promotion will run on Saturday, 12 November for one day only, while stocks last. You will need to purchase a 40574 LEGO Brand Store to receive the free limited edition Sydney tile. There is a limit of one per customer.

It’s really cool that Sydney has been chosen to get a LEGO Store tile, and this will definitely be something you’ll want in your collection, especially if you call NSW home.

This is new-ish thing that LEGO is doing to get people to visit certain LEGO Flagship stores around the world, and so far, these City Store tiles have been made available in London (Leicester Square), Paris, and Barcelona, Singapore, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing (that I’ve been able to find).

These yellow printed tiles usually have the city name as well as some of the city’s most notable landmarks.

The Sydney one features the Westfield Tower, Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Deutsche Bank Place, which coincidentally also featured in the Sydney Architecture Skyline set from 2017.

It’s really neat that Australia is the 4th one, but as a Melburnian, I am JUST A LITTLE BIT jealous that Sydney had a go first, but I’m really hoping we get a Melbourne one as well.

It’s a great way to personalise your 40574 LEGO Brand Store set, as it’s now evident that it was designed to have the blank white tile on the entrance swapped out for these City tiles.

If you’re in Sydney, and have the morning free, I’d recommend heading to the Bondi Junction store (which was the first official LEGO Certified Store in Australia!), this Saturday. I hope they have plenty and don’t run out, or at least make this available to more New South Wales stores soon!
