Don’t forget to get your Brickvention 2024 tickets!

The 2024 LEGO season will start off with a bang here in Melbourne, Australia with the return of Brickvention 2024, Australia’s premier LEGO Fan event!

The public exhibition dates are Saturday and Sunday, 20-21 January 2024 and it will be in its usual home, the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, Melbourne.

Tickets are still available (and selling fast!), and you can order them online via the Brickvention Eventbrite website:

The tickets are for timed entries and their prices are as below:

Adult tickets, 16 years and over: $27.00
Child Tickets, 4 – 15 years: $18.00 ($20 at the door)
Children 3 years and under enter free.

Brickvention is a LOT of fun, as you get to see incredible LEGO Creations of all shapes and sizes, and is a great family day out, especially if you’re a big LEGO family. Perfect for a school holiday weekend activity!

Highly recommend going (I’ve been attending since 2014) and I’m blown away every single time by the sheer talent and creativity from the Australian LEGO community.

There are also plenty of vendors and sellers, selling the latest sets to all types of minifigures and even a vintage set or two.

Brickvention is Australia’s only AFOL Networking Event (ANE), a status reserved for the most elite LEGO Fan Events organised by fan communities and LUGs, and I look forward to it every year as you can expect to see some of the best builders and MOCs from across the country, and region.

I’ve been religiously attending Brickvention since my first one in 2014, and I call myself very lucky to live in a state with one of the world’s best LEGO fan conventions.

To relive past Brickventions, check out my writeups and photo galleries from each year, going back to 2014!

I’ll be there on Convention Day (on Friday, 19 January), so if you’re there, do stop me and say hi as I’d love to catch up. I will also pop in early on Saturday morning!

If you’re attending on Convention Day (Friday, the 19th), I have a talk on the main stage with my Extra Pieces Podcast co-host, Richard Jones (also of Rambling Brick fame) at 3:15pm, so I’d love to see you there in the audience!

Brickvention Tickets are available online and I definitely recommend booking your tickets early, as some of the more popular slots (pre-lunch time) tend to sell out quickly!

Will you be at Brickvention 2024? Let me know in the comments if I’ll see you there!
