i wonfer how much will this set worth in 5, 10 years?
10 years sets issued at year plus releases are now tru the roof, this one is limited. so just imagine the +%
maybe who got it, got lucky?

  2. Graham says:

    Well that was fast.
I guess if I really want it I can get one on the secondary market. I did manage to get two full brick link sets, guess that was my luck for this month.

  3. art says:

out of stock online in USA and Europe, most US Lego Stores also sold out already on Sunday, no insider no chance to get one.

again Lego failed at what real lego fans wanted, Lego refused to make the Bricklink Medevil Caste as Ideas set but 30 000 pre sales and sold out batch in the first 12 hours ( so who at the Lego HQ was thinking this is not going to sell well ??? )

  4. Summer says:

Got the last of two boxes as the Denver, CO area store on Feb 18. Excited to play with mini astronauts!

  5. Raffe says:

No longer available on the website from what I can see.

  6. Andrew says:

Hopefully they’ll bring this one back when they have something desirable in stock. Can’t imagine this one is helping the bottom line much 🙁

  7. JE says:

Will this gwp be available in-store?

  8. Ted says:

Good point. Lego can’t make extra sales if there’s nothing to sell! I wonder if they decided the dates to do the promo a long time ago, before the stock levels of the sets that people who would want a classic space set would actually buy?

  9. John Hood says:

Pre-ordered LEGO Star Wars sets as a fan of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Space!

  10. Daniel says:

It’s a weird time to have a promotion when the vast majority of sets aimed at adults are out of stock, or being released on 1st March after the promotion ends. Ah well, The LEGO Groups loss is my wallets gain.

    • Ted says:

It kinda feels like bad timing, but in reality it’s a good business decision. By having the promo out before a bunch of releases that people are going to buy anyway, they get some extra sales they might not otherwise. I doubt the absence of a promotion will deter many from getting the March headliner sets.

      • Sean says:

Makes sense that it’s before the new releases, but not if everything else is out of stock – I have $900 of stuff I haven’t bought BECAUSE I was waiting for a good GWP, and now I can’t buy it because it is out of stock.

        • ForestManBaby says:

          Yep.
          Same.
          Not the first time either.
          Do better LEGO.

        • Daniel says:

My point exactly. I probably would have bought the King’s Castle if it were in stock. As it is I’ll be waiting a good few months until something else makes it more appealing.
