LEGO 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle and other Marvel and DC Summer 2023 sets revealed

LEGO have just revealed a huge slate of LEGO Marvel and DC Comics sets coming in August 2023, including the highly anticipated 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle, which features the climax of Spider-Man: No Way Home and all three Spider-Man variants!

Having seen some of these sets… I don’t know, I’m very underwhelmed, especially by 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle.

76261 Spider-Man Final Battle has plenty of incredible minifigures, including the who’s who of Spider-Man No Way Home, including all 3 Spider-Man, but the set is just… it’s incredibly tiny.

I got a chance to see the model (not the minifigures) a couple of months ago, and it was really underwhelmingly small. Also, they did Sandman dirty.

76266 Endgame Final Battle actually looks decent, and I think this is a sleeper hit. I love the diorama-esque display nature of it centreing around the female superheroes kicking Thanos’ butt.

76265 Batwing Batman vs. The Joker is superb. It’s the perfect size and is minifigure-scale and will go great with the 1989 Batmobile that was just revealed.

Also… the pricing on these sets are bonkers, especially the 4+ sets.
