LEGO Ideas Cosmic Cardboard Adventures (40533) gift with purchase now available!

The next 2022 LEGO Ideas set is now available, but the catch is that it’s a gift with purchase!

40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures is now available from LEGO.com globally, and is free when you spend US$160 / £160 / AU$229 or more online.

Additionally, if you’re living in the USA or UK, or Europe, you will also be able to snag a 2-for-1 deal, as 40529 Children’s Amusement Park will also be given to you for free when you spend US$90 / £90 / €90 / CAD$115 in a single purchase.

See the LEGO promotions in your regional online shop below for all the details

Don’t forget, the Ulysses Space Probe VIP reward will also restock on the 17th of May for those that missed out the first time, which means that you will be able to stack all 3!

if you’re struggling for something to purchase, I can recommend the Jurassic Park T.Rex Breakout which just restocked in the US. Additionally, Pick a Brick online is back (for bestseller elements), and you could also try to fill up your cart with Build a Mini, but it’s currently very buggy and not all parts are available.

If you’re making a purchase, please consider using these affiliate links. I may receive a small commission with each successful purchase which help power the site!

Be sure to check out my review of 40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures to see more of the set – if you have something to purchase, it’ll be an excellent GWP if you’re an Ideas or Classic Space fan.

Was trying wistfully not to purchase this month, waiting for the June releases, but couldn’t resist the Cosmic Cardboard promo. The Australian threshold ($A229) is very high though for equivalently sized GWPs – I don’t remember having had to have spent that much before.

I was one of the fortunate few who managed to score Ulysses in the 15 minutes it was available last year – I guess I won’t be able now to fund my retirement by selling it ;).

Yeah, the highest it’s ever gone was AU$279 for the Sailboat Adventures.

Congrats on snagging one, it’s a tidy little set, and I’m still considering making an order to pick a second one up. I just wish there was a lot more to buy, but might just get some Monkie Kid.

I finally caved and bought the Creator 3-in-1 Ferris Wheel; I guess I never realized it was a 3-in-1 before, and finally took a closer look at it today and decided to purchase. That plus a couple other smaller sets I’d been waiting on, and I’ve got both GWPs now. 🙂

Now to eagerly await June 1st and the absolutely gigantic order that will come with it.

Don’t care much for the space probe, so I made sure I got the awesome Cosmic Adventures kit. Finally time to buy the Boutique Hotel. 😆

Congrats! It’s a tidy little GWP so you’ll definitely enjoy it. And the Boutique Hotel is a masterpiece – enjoy the build!
