LEGO Marvel Taxi and Majisto’s Workshop GWP sold out in North America

Bad news for those in North America, following a blistering launch of LEGO’s Black Friday 2023 sales (with some of the best discounts I’ve seen yet),  40601 Majisto’s Magical Workshop and 5008076 LEGO Marvel Taxi have now sold out in the US and Canada.

5008076 LEGO Marvel Taxi of course is a gift with purchase that you can only get through ordering the 76269 Avengers Tower. In my review of the Marvel Taxi, I did mention that these yellow box GWPs tend to be produced in very limited quantities, and it’s no surprise that it sold out given the incredible popularity of the Avengers Tower, in spite of its hefty price tag.

40601 Majisto’s Magical Workshop selling out is another surprise (40602 Winter Market Stall is still available), but looking at the calibre of Black Friday sales in the US, you can definitely see why fans have been convincingly persuaded to part with their money.

25% off 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle and 30% off 75331 UCS Razor Crest is hard to beat. If Australia would discount the Lion Knights Castle like that, I wouldn’t hesitate in buying one or two for my collection.

As expected, the Marvel Taxis are already being listed and sold on eBay, where they’re going for an average of US$100.

If you’re in the UK or Europe, the Avengers Tower is still available online, and so is the Marvel Taxi GWP, so if you’re looking to offset the cost of the Tower, it might not be a bad idea to list the GWP online and recoup some of the cost.

If you’re in Australia, good news as 76269 Avengers Tower has also restocked online, although is backordered and will only ship out by 8 January 2024. It sold out overnight at launch, so for those who missed out, this is a second chance. Plus, you still qualify for the Marvel Taxi AND the other Black Friday GWPs as well.
