LEGO sets 19 March for the Dungeons and Dragons reveal date!

Update: The LEGO Dungeons and Dragons set has officially been revealed!

After a series of teasers online, LEGO have announced the date and time for one of the most anticipated sets of 2024 – the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set!

Set your clocks and alarms because LEGO will unveil the set on 19 March 2024 at 1pm EST / 6pm CET / 5pm GMT / 4am AEDT (on the 20th)!

Use this link for the reveal converted to your local time zone.

The teaser image features 4 minifigures, likely representing a typical Dungeons and Dragons party. It’s a little hard to make out these minifigures, but by looking at the silhouettes, you can make out an elf with a spellbook, a shorter minifigure (a dwarf or gnome?) and a hooded figure with a crossbow that’s likely to be a rogue.

We don’t have an official release date yet, but a 19th March reveal definitely makes an April release date very likely!

In case you needed a reminder, here’s what the fan-design, Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End looks like! I’m super excited to see what LEGO does with this and how closely they maintain the design because this could be an all-time design if they roll a D20 on the final model.

Whether you’re a Fantasy/Castle fan, or a long-time Dungeons and Dragons player, you can’t deny that LEGO Dungeons and Dragons will be one of the most exciting releases of 2024!

Are you looking forward to the LEGO DnD set? What classes, creatures and DnD staples are you hoping to see in the set?

Is it 1pm EST or EDT? Currently we are in daylight time. I just want to know if it is at noon on the East Coast or 1pm on the east coast?

Excited for this one! Been a hodgepodge of medieval era sets the last few years. Would be nice to get a full blown theme eventually. I’ve been working hard to cobble together continuity between the recent medieval blacksmith, 3-1, village, and castle, but the scaling isn’t quite right. Might have to break the blacksmith down into smaller structures. Hopefully this DnD cross over fits right in!

    OMG YAY!!!!

The classes 50 years ago were fighting-man (fighter), magic-user (wizard), and cleric. Thief was added not long after. The silhouettes appear to be honoring D&D’s first four classes.
FWIW, races were human, elf, dwarf, and hobbit (halfling).
If they’re honoring the 1974 restrictions on race/class combinations, I’d expect elf wizard, human cleric, dwarf fighter, and a 1975 halfling thief.
Oh, and I think you meant “roll a nat 20” up there instead of “D20.” Thanks for the article – I didn’t know about this crossover!

Most likely the other character is a papadin or swordsman type. I see a sword and shield. It looks like the middle left figure has a hammer weapon.
