LEGO.com has revealed three new Star Wars sets, also set to debut at San Diego Comic Con 2023, with two all-new sets based on the upcoming Ahsoka TV series, and an incredibly scary buildable model of everyone’s favourite Wookie, Chewbacca.
Yes, the LEGO 75371 Chewbacca model is real. Real scary. Like you know, a real Wookie.
All three sets will arrive on 1 September 2023, and can be be pre-ordered now from LEGO.com, just in time for the premiere of Ahsoka which debuts on Disney+ on 23 August 2023.

This looks like an exceptionally strong wave, much more compelling than the August 2023 wave, and fans will be delighted to finally get a close look at the new Ahsoka Tano minifigure.

It’s been over 12 years since the last Jedi T-6 Shuttle set – 7931 Jedi T-6 Shuttle which was released way back in 2011, and this new ship featured a bold new red and grey colour scheme, and a sensational lineup of minifigures.

75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle comes with a brand new 2023 Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Professor Huyang and Marrok (The Inquisitor) minifigures, which is really strong, and will likely sell very well on the strength of the price and minifigures alone.

Excitingly, Star Wars fans are finally treated to the very first LEGO E-Wing Starfighter, with 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter, which also include Shin Hati’s Starfighter.
For a Goth/Emo sith lord, I really wasn’t expecting a starburst-coloured Starfighter, but I’ll take it in this case.

And last but not least, we shan’t forget that 2023 celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi, and what better way to commemorate the milestone than release 75371 Chewbacca, a fully brick-built statue of the fiercesome Wookie.

It’s… certainly something, and it stands 18 inches (46 cm) tall, so if you’ve ever wanted a 2,319-piece LEGO Wookie statue, your time has come.

And yes, Chewie’s generous buns are part of the build, so really, this is simultaneously the greatest and most horrific LEGO Star Wars set. I’m excited for this and commend the LEGO Star Wars’ team for taking this challenge on, even if no one was really asking for this.
But it’s here, and we must worship the giant LEGO Chewbacca statue, lest it rips our arms off.

Forgive my ignorance but have Lego ever done a large C3PO? I have R2D2 & would love to C3PO standing next to him on the shelf. Don’t think I’d want Chewy, too dark & not enough features. It would have been better as just a head rather than whole body piece. Would have looked nice next to the helmet sets.

Jek-14’s E-wing: Am I a joke to you? XD
Well uh, I uh… that one was modified!! This one is stock
Is this one stock though? It’s missing the top blaster cannon. Jek’s was modded for stealth though, so I guess it was more stealth fighter than E-wing maybe? This will be the first canonical appearance, either way. Jek’s isn’t canonical as far as I can tell.
What’s the best way to waste money? Buy set 75371 and cry because you bought the worst lego set.
No Chewie slander here!
Sorry, I just don’t like Star Wars.
oh my… i will probably have to buy all of these… Chewbacca looks too wild to pass up!
still no Thrawn minifig though!
Hopefully Thrawn shows up in an affordable set..
I love these sets !
Honestly, Chewie doesn’t look too bad except for his face and yet I’ve been pleasantly horrified or surprised by sets in person before, so shall hold off – as their images can often just look dodgy.,
I’m keeping open to Chewie. I just like the fact that it exists and LEGO gave it a shot.
Replicating a brown mop using LEGO elements isn’t exactly a walk in the park.
Holy cow. These sets look incredible! Except for the Chewbacca one…
I might not send Chewbacca over to you then… haha
