New LEGO Summer 2022 set listings are starting to show up online

The LEGO Summer 2022 LEGO Preview season has officially kicked off!

As we approach the second half of the year, we’re starting to get a glimpse of LEGO’s slate of products for 2HY (second half) 2022, and German toy retailer Wagner’s has uploaded a whole bunch of product listings with sets coming in the second half of the year.

There aren’t images yet, but we do have some set numbers, set names, piece counts and prices in Euros. Do also note that these are likely just partial lists, and we should get a clearer idea of what’s to come in early May, when we’ll likely get set images as well.

Some really interesting confirmations of previous rumours, such as the presence of the LEGO Optimus Prime, some licensed Speed Champions sets (Fast & Furious and James Bond), Ninjago Season 15, as well as upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets tied in with the Obi Wan Kenobi TV series on Disney+.

We don’t have release dates yet, but expect all these sets to be available in June and beyond!

Additionally, the LEGO Instructions portal has given us a glimpse of two upcoming City and Friends sets in these low-res images – we get a look at 60336 Freight Train and 41714 Andrea’s Theater School which is just the perfect set to go with the Muppets minifigures.

bro when i saw monkey kid realms i thoght it was sorce < crystal king

  2. Sam sabourin says:

We need resident evil sets and have the gimmicks be buying smaller sets to make bigger ones with the exception of the ecliptic express, other vehicles where those one whole set, interchangeable character parts for los plagas and j,avos for mutations, duplicate characters for their mutated form, and somehow finally giving mini figures the ability to hold something with both hands

  3. Dereck says:

Man, when I first seen the Ninjago pic, I thought it was an Aether Crystal and they were doing some COD Zombies sets!

Come on, a Lego set of each map (or maybe spawn rooms or pack room etc), little Jug and mystery boxes. Different zombies figure designs

    Maaaaan this needs to happen!!!

    • Dereck diller says:

I spell my name the same way you do I didn’t know someone else spelled it like that

  4. Swen says:

Hey there, great list man and can’t wait for the new lego supercar. Regarding the airbus, the pieces and the price from the Daytona are copied, there should be 2001 pieces for $199,99.

    Keep up the great work!

  5. Víctor says:

It’s so nice seeing so many DC sets and new minifugures we’ve never seen before. Bless Lego for always showing love for DC

  6. Nick Purdy says:

I wonder what homage 71411 is going to be? Super Nintendo, perhaps?

    • Jay says:

Secretly hoping it’s a Mario Galaxy homage. We’ve had Super Mario Bros 3, NES, Mario 64, and some light Sunshine, so it seems like the Galaxy era is the next to get some love!

Or Odyssey would be really nice.

With the recent news of the Chris Pratt Mario Movie being delayed, I fully expect a few things to be pushed…

  7. Hassan says:

So excited for Kenobi sets, hope for a new inquisitor Minifigure.

  8. Reader says:

Looking forward to seeing the Avatar, Ninjago and some of the new City sets.

  9. David says:

Oh… a new AT-TE set for Star Wars?!

I better start saving my money….

  10. Greg B says:

Very interested to see the (hi-res) images for both new trains coming out. Also, very excited to see this happening: 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3. Of course, now I really need to save up some dough! Especially if Optimus Prime and the jump Sanctum Santorum are as good as I’m hoping.

    • Jay says:

Yeah, really happy for trains, and hope there’s also an 18+/Creator Expert-scale one in the works too.

Looking like a strong second half of 2022! And who knows what else LEGO has up their sleeves!

  11. jage says:

The pyramid of Giza better go up a few levels then switch from tan to yellow and finish off with blue bricks as that’s the historically accurate way to build a Lego pyramid.

    • Jay says:

Let’s just say… you’re not going to be disappointed by it.

I’m just really excited that Architecture is going down the route of historical landmarks/wonders of the world.

  12. Barbara J. Price-Mills says:

So disappointed…I saw the purple crystal and thought it would be for a Jim Henson Dark Crystal set. Only thing better would be a set from the TV series of dark crystal.

    • Jay says:

Sorry! That would be a REALLY great fantasy series… but maybe too obscure unless there’s some sort of furture reboot.

      • Jim Allen Johnston says:

ha ha — I had the exact same thought when I saw that purple crystal ! Some of the Dark Crystal fan built sets are fantastic. If only they’d win one of the votes and get created!

oh well, will just have to be content with Muppets (for now…)

  13. gregory ferko says:

Would love to get Optimus Prime and the Great Pyramids of Egypt.

  14. Andrew Gardiner says:

This could be my most expensive LEGO year ever and this list doesn’t even include the rumoured 10307 Eiffel Tower.
I find the idea of a LEGO Architecture Pyramid intriguing. I wonder what they can do to avoid it being an incredibly boring build.
Speed Champions sets are not known for play features but a 007 Aston Martin DB5 almost demands something.
By the way the CITY Freight Train is 60336 (not 60036)

    • Jay says:

Yeah, Eiffel Tower could potentially be huge (in more ways than one), but I hope they make it look interesting, and not a blocky grey mass like the first one.

Maybe for the Pyramid, they can opt for the historical version, before the Limestone exterior and gold capstone was removed.

They had better include a minifigure in that DB5…

Thanks for that, fixed up the set number for the train!
