Purple Classic Space helmets finally available on Pick a Brick alongside other interesting new elements!

Just in time for Double Insider points, LEGO’s Pick a Brick Online has finally got Purple Classic Space helmets in stock, in addition to a whole selection of new PAB elements.

LEGO Classic Space fans (me!) have been eagerly awaiting the moment where these would be stocked on LEGO’s Pick a Brick Online, a service which allows you to order most* LEGO elements and parts.

If you’ve been eyeing these, don’t hesitate, as they’ll sell out really quickly as fans look to create their own purist Purple Classic Space Astronaut, using Series 22’s Space Creature’s torso as the base.

Unfortunately, Purple Airtanks are temporarily out of stock, so keep an eye on these for a restock.

There’s plenty of other interesting new elements on Pick a Brick, from the mid-year releases that are still in stock, and these are some of my favourites that I’ve ordered as well.

LEGO Beluga Whales are back in stock for fans of marine life. Orcas have also been listed but are out of stock for now. Do note that Orcas consist of the body, and the lower jaw piece too.

LEGO Seals and Baby Seals from the Seal Battle Pack set have also been listed, but those cute Baby Seals are temporarily out of stock.

The classic Smiley faceplate from 40649 Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure is also available, in case you wanted to build more Up-Scaled variants.

And other cute animals like Friends Otters and Turtles are also available for LEGO animal enthusiasts.

With LEGO’s Double Insider points running from 10-15 October 2023, plus the 40597 Scary Pirate Island and 40608 Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack Gift with Purchase being available, it’s a pretty good time to make the most out of a big Pick a Brick order.

I feel like the Lego Australia Pick a Brick service is improving but still doesn’t make sense in some cases.
E.g. They divided their bricks into “Bestseller” and “Standard”, “Bestseller” bricks has a flat rate AUD$5 handling fee (they send it from a country nearer to us), while the “Standard” bricks has a flat rate AUD$10 handling fee (because they send it from Denmark). This sounds fair enough until I found myself needing both bricks from “Bestseller” and bricks from “Standard” and need to pay $15. Surely the “Standard” catalogue which ship from Denmark Billund should encapsulate all those that is listed in “Bestseller” as well? This partition is very strange!
