The winner of LEGO Masters (USA) Season 4 will get their build turned into an actual LEGO set

LEGO Masters USA has just dropped their trailer and a premiere date for the fourth season – 28 September 2023 , and hidden within the trailer is a pretty huge bombshell.

One lucky team will have their build immortalised and turned into a LEGO set, which means that we are getting the very first LEGO Masters-themed set on the way!

In the trailer, LEGO Masters host Will Arnett explains that the winner of the season will see their final build transformed into an actual LEGO set, which is a huge honour, perhaps a bigger honour than the trophy and the $100,000 prize.

Last year, the finale ended just before Christmas, but depending on when it was actually shot, we might get the set sooner than you think as LEGO Masters is shot way in advance.

Check out the full trailer below, but beware of spoilers as quite a large number of builds are shown off.

Oh, and there’s also a LEGO 2K Drive tie-in as well.

Season 4 of LEGO Masters USA will premiere on FOX on Thursday, 28 September 2023 for those in North America.

What do you think of the first LEGO Masters-themed set? Would you like to see this perk rolled out to other LEGO Masters shows too?

If Lego Masters US is anything like Lego Masters Australia, some final builds are absolutely huge. I don’t think Lego would be shipping builds that take 28 hours and tens of thousands of pieces to build. But it’s a great opportunity – some of the builds on Lego Masters I would really like to see as a set.

    • Jay Ong says:

They’ll probably shrink it down, so they’ll use the final build as a reference for the set.

Amy and Jamie are very accomplished LEGO designers, and it’d be very cool for them to also work on bringing the set to life.

Lego Masters Australia is levels above the USA series. Sure some of the USA master builds are big but pretty simple, seems like a waste to make a set of USA builds. Would love sets of those Australia god tier builds!

  6. Andrew Gardiner says:

It will be interesting to see how this is done. LM builds have to be so much bigger than Lego retail sets to present well on TV. Does this mean that there will have to be a central sub-build within the bigger build that can be lifted out to stand on its own?

  7. Andrew says:

I’ve always wondered why this isn’t a prize in the various LM editions. When we watch we often say “I’d buy that” to the most striking builds. I imagine the contestants would probably be just as happy with that aspect of the prize as with the money. Even better if the production lead times mean it can be released to coincide with the series final.

    • Jay Ong says:

I really hope it’ll be a surprise drop online, or at least a 1 January release. Fingers crosssed it doesn’t leak as it’ll then spoil the finale build.

  8. Marie says:

I really wanted the Monkey and Peacock build from the finale of season 1 or season 2 to become a set; I would have loved to build that! 😭💗☀️🙂

  9. Monty says:

    Wow, seems a little weird.
The show is aired in other regions, and the Aussie builds (as I’m sure other regions) are awesome. Cool for the US contestants I suppose, but also a bit rubbish. I mean I get it, the US has a huge population, but, c’mon.

    • Thomas says:

You’re right. The AU show and builds are awesome. I genuinely enjoy it more than the US show with it’s celebrity and animosity. The final build may come with some restrictions to be salable. Perhaps a piece or size limit. Whatever it is, i always thought it would be fun to turn one of their builds into a set. Let’s leave the Assie show as it is without the hype and bs of the US.

    • John Cooper says:

The USA version is better with better creations
