First look at new LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Space Shuttle & Ferris Wheel sets

As Summer (Northern Hemisphere) approaches, the trickle of new 2nd Half LEGO sets starts to turn into a torrent, and we now have our very first peek at some new LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets!

Update: The Creator 31120 Medieval Castle has also been revealed!

Dutch retailer Ottosimon has given us our first look at 2 new Creator sets, and judging by how early these are out, be prepared for a June 2021 release.

These sets will be available from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and most toy stores that carry LEGO.

In case you missed it, here’s all the other Summer 2021 LEGO sets revealed so far:

31117 Space Shuttle

First up, we have a cracker of a medium-sized set, 31117 Space Shuttle which pays homage to three historic and iconic LEGO Space sets – with 3 models to build that encompasses smaller versions of the newly released NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, the NASA Lunar Lander and the legendary Apollo Saturn V.

Add a female Astronaut with the classic space logo on her spacesuit, and you have an excellent and accessible set that’s perfect for Space fans.

31119 Ferris Wheel

Another entrant pays homage to LEGO Creator Expert’s Theme Park subtheme, with an awesome take on a Ferris Wheel as well as alternate builds featuring Bumper Car and Rocking Ship models.

I just love how bright and cheery the sets look, as well as the very generous helping of teal elements throughout the build.

While you’re here, we also got a peek at 2 more LEGO Mickey & Friends sets, and the reveal post has been updated so check it out if you’d like to see more Mickey and Friends sets!

I registered on this site because I have a 5 year old grandson who is lego crazy. My son was 3 when he started putting legos together. He never used directions. At the time they weren’t made like they are today. He would ask for kits that were made for 13-15 year olds. He would have them all put together correctly within 3-5 hours. He still puts together the Star War collections. My husband has started to build the Space legos. We have 4 children all married and we have 6 Grand Children. The younger ones have started with the larger size blocks. We will all be visiting Disney in August. They use to have a lego expedition in Disney. I really hope it still exists. My older son was studying a lego display in Disney when he was 3. It was in a large plexiglass box with sharp edges. Someone was walking past him and in a hurry shoved his face right into that sharp display corner. He was crying and bleeding profusely. It took a bit but we got the bleeding stopped. The manager had Mickey come and he gave him a private visit. He was very happy but was very happy to get back to the Lego display. So when our family all got their stimulus checks this year, my husband bought a $200.00 space ship to match the one on the other side of the room. My son found an expensive lego set to buy and my Grandson, even during Covid said he wanted a Lego Birthday party! Though there were no kids, invited a just Grandparents on different days. He amassed an even bigger group of Legos. Day after day, gifts arrived in the mail from cousins and Aunts and Uncles! He was one happy camper! His Birthday was March 2. Doctor Zuesse’s birthday. I tried really hard to find a Dr Zuess lego set but I had no luck. His father did like I did when me kids were little and put several stackable pies with drawers in his closet. My son had many of those plastic boxes in our playroom. One drawer just for guys and their gadgets. A large drawer for bases, several for put together Legos, several drawers for handcuffs and other fun objects, I have labeled some large Zip Lock bags for items such as tires, light sabors, steering wheels etc. he can pretty much go into that large area and find any part he needs. Some are displayed, however, everyone is careful around her! Lol. Thanks, for the Lego log. I still have all of my sons Legos he left behind when he bought a house and married. His new daughter will be 1 in mid June and guess what she is going to get? Exactly, a little girls set on age appropriate Legos. By the way, my son and Grandson never put anything in their mouths which is why age isn’t a factor in their Lego sets. Since I babysit Ev and his sister during the week and spread the weekends and nights for the other grandkids. During the day Evie asks me for my phone and explores all of the Lego kits at various stores that he can order off of. I told my kids when I am gone, there won’t be any money to split up just out house and it’s contents because I have spent it all on my Grandchildren!

Who needs money to split up when you have all that Lego! This is a wonderful post, thanks for sharing.

I gave all my Lego away to a friend who had a young son when I was about 30. It’d been all boxed up for well over half my life by that point, so I never expected to want it again. However, middle age, and especially an understanding spouse who bought me a Lego Millennium Falcon for my 40th a few years back (because I had been buying the Star Wars Advent calendar since that began and had also picked up small sets like Back to the Future and Ghostbusters) reinvigorated my interest. It’s an excellent mental health balm, following the procedures in the instructions (I’m a little Aspergic so shutting myself away for a few hours making Lego helps recover from life-stresses like work) is really soothing and you end up with really cute models.

Didn’t they do a 3-in-1 shuttle recently? No, transport truck. Feel like that’s too close to the expert shuttle. What do you think.

Ferris wheel looks great and a great size too! That’ll be fun to motorise too.

Now, about the upcoming castle that hasn’t in any way been leaked…
