After a sneak peek via a Danish toy catalogue, we finally have official images of the upcoming Creator 3-in-1 Viking Ship, giving us a much better look at the awesome brick-built Viking longship and the 2 other alternate builds.
31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent will be available from 1 June onwards from LEGO.com, and will retail for US$119.99

This is such a fantastic and visually appealing model, with plenty of awesome play features.
The teal Serpent looks fantastic, and I love that they’ve also included 4 minifigures, some of the most detailed minifigures we’ve ever seen in a Creator 3-in-1 set. I especially love the Viking Woman’s winged helm.

This looks incredibly playable, and just rocketed up to my must-buy list.

We also get a glimpse of the alternate models, where you can build a brick-built wolf, likely a nod to Fenrir, the mythical Norse wolf that plays a huge part in Norse mythology.

Lastly, you also get to build a Viking Hall, complete with a tiny dragon attacking it.

I think what’s also really exciting about this Creator 3-in-1 set, is that if you have the budget, you can actually buy 2 or 3, and assemble a really neat Viking scene, as the longship, Viking Hall, and Fenrir all look amazingly well together.
A definite must-buy for me, come 1 June 2022 from LEGO.com, or most toy stores.

Why is everyone upset about the helmets?
Because it doesn’t make any sense. Never has any viking worn a helmet like that.
Yeah, I know that, a lot of people do, but it’s stupid to be upset about it. It’s a homage to the viking theme just like last years creator castle was an homage to the classic castle theme. Lego isn’t going to change the helmets for that reason.
True, but we are looking at several myths and stereotypes in this set including with Fenrir, Jörmungandr, Huginn and Muninn.
We can always take the horns out and replace them with something else or nothing at all.
Because the horned helmets thing isn’t historically accurate, I think it was something invented in German operas for the dramatic appearance
It’s not a big thing to be upset about it, it’s likely some did have helms decorated similarly, it’s just a pop culture thing now
Also worth noting the two black birds on top of the Saul’s yard arm, a nod to Odin’s ravens, Huginn and Muninn!

Yes I love that!
I also definitely want this set, but am not entirely happy with the horned helmets. Here’s a quote about horned hel.ets from a Danish historical museum: “Such helmets would also have caused problems on board the warships, where space was already at a premium. In addition, none of the contemporary sources mention Vikings wearing horned headgear.”
Agree – absolute must buy for me.
For me this set and last years castle are classic LEGO.
Seroiusly. Danes should know better than anyone that Vikings didn’t have horned helmets.
Tsk, historically inaccurate helmets! Nah but I’m super excited for this
