LEGO Marvel What If…? set revealed! 76194 Tony Stark’s Sakaarian Iron Man

Amazon.fr has given us our first glimpse at a new Marvel sub-theme and set based on the upcoming What If…? series

Here’s your first look at 76194 Tony Stark’s Sakaarian Iron Man, which includes 3x minifigures – Tony Stark, Valkyrie and the Watcher.

Amazon.fr has the release date of this set earmarked for 1 August 2021, so expect to see more What If…? sets revealed soon!

Marvel’s What If…? is a animated series that will explore parallel realities and alternate stories from the MCU, with The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright). The series will debut in August 2021, so just in time for the sets to be released!

Among stories that we can hope to see are:

• what if Peggy Carter had received the Super Soldier Serum instead of Stege Rogers
• What if T’Challa became Star-Lord
• What if Tony Stark went to Sakaar
• What if The Avengers became zombies?

and more!

This set all but confirms that we have Tony Stark building an Iron Man Mech with bright Sakaar-ian colours, and is accompanied by Valkyrie as well.

Sakaar was where Thor 3: Ragnarok took place and led by the Grandmaster (played by Jeff Goldblum) – we’ve had one set based in Sakaar from 2017 – 76088 Thor vs Hulk Arena Clash, so the colour scheme certainly looks familiar.

Tony Stark being the genius inventor he is also designed by mech to be transformed into a race car, which is a neat play feature – very Transformers-esque.

Pretty exciting and I certainly wasn’t expecting Marvel What If…? sets, but bring it on!
