These feel a little bit like they gave up and just pieced some things together….though I do appreciate the expecto patronum one because I love the bigger scale sets – like why isn’t there a big Ron to go with Harry and Hermione?? I’d rather buy different large scale “minifigure” sets vs all these little ones that seem like little planning went into them or are things that have been done recently in slightly different ways.

I’m quite surprised by Expecto Patronum. It looks great on this picture. It wasn’t on my want list until now.

The other sets I’m not too bothered about – they’re a bit same old same old

It looks like the Hogwarts Express will fit on normal tracks and could be motorized. This might end up on my shopping list.

  6. Nikolas Hume says:

Wow, gotta admit i was not expecting another hogwarts express after what I personally called a flop of the first one and then the overwhelming magnificence (and price) of the collectors edition, but i sure am thankful, this already looks superb compared to the 2018 model, I’m stoked for the new engine!!
